Lovely Baroque Motifs

A couple of weeks ago my friends and I had fun playing with Baroque Motifs (thanks to the wonderful Suzie for letting me borrow her set - this one is on my wish list!!). After doing some blog surfing I came across the very lovely Diane Barnes who had made a beautiful set using this stamp set. I decided to CASE this set but changed the colours.

Here is the set from Diane's blog and the following cards are what I came up with:-

The colours I chose are Purely Pomegranate, Pale Plum, Old Olive and Whisper White. I just love these colours together. I also used a piece of Prints DSP in Old Olive.

I will be back with some exciting projects I have been working on to show you. I just can't upload them yet until I give them to the recepients.

Lovely Flowers

The other weekend when I was having my play I made this first card from a sketch challenge but for the life of me can't remember where it came from. I had it saved on my computer some time ago but don't know where it came from, oops!

I have used the following Stampin' Up! supplies:-

Cardstock: Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron, Regal Rose, Whisper White

Paper: DSP Petals & Paisley, DSP Spring Fling

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Occasional Greetings, Wonderful Favourites

Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Summer Sun, Pink Passion

I made the next card for the wonderful Karen who has helped me so much with my blog and for being such a brilliant demonstrator. A big thank you goes out to her!!

The following Stampin' Up! supplies were used:-

Cardstock : Regal Rose, So Saffron, Whisper White

Paper: DSP Spring Fling

Stamps: Pick a Petal, Short & Sweet

Inks: Purely Pomegranate, Summer Sun, Green Galore

Thank You Cards

I was asked by my lovely friend and neighbour, Jane, to make some Thank You cards for her. Jane selected the beautiful papers from the Dashing series and here are the end products:-

Most of the cardstock was from Stampin' Up! but others were from bits and pieces of my stash. You can't see too well but the the Thank You circles are all embossed with a copper embossing powder.
