Tucked Away Box

It seems like it's been a while since I have been here but I have finally managed to find the missing camera cord (again!!) and have now uploaded photos from the camera to my new PC. My DH set it up for me after my laptop didn't like the power outage we had.

I have so much to show so first off I will share with you a gorgeous box from Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates. You can find Lauren's site here. This box is the very cute Tucked Away box.

This was so easy to make and can fit any small gift or chocolates. I have used Not Quite Navy and dressed it up with the beautiful Urban Garden papers. The ribbon is just one I had in my stash finished off with a lovely felt flower.
Keep checking into my blog for more updates and I have a couple of 3D easter projects to show as well.
Bye for now :)

I {Heart} Hearts

When I saw this stamp set in the mini catalogue I just had to have it so here is a card I made using this lovely set.

I was inspired by a card by the lovely Kirsty Brown whose blog you can find here, but for the life of me I can't find the actual card on it. I had it saved on my computer for times of inspiration.

Here is my take on Kirsty's card:-

I have used Pink Pirouette as the base card and scalloped a strip of Riding Hood Red. I then stamped the hearts in Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip. This is such a cute card and I love all of those colours together, just perfect.

Thanks for visiting my blog and until next time, happy stamping!!

An Easel Card

I have wanted to give one of these easel cards a go for a while now and also couldn't wait to use my new sale-a-bration set, Good Neighbour. These little houses are just so cute!! The easel card is not as hard as I thought and I may even make some more but in a bigger size.

Here is my card and I know just who to give it to as we have friends who are moving into a new house as we speak so it will be just perfect:-

I have mounted the little tree in the middle so you can see that is what stops the card from sliding down. I realised after stamping the clouds that I should have used my stamp-a-ma-jig but who sees perfectly straight clouds anyway, hahaha!!!

Thanks for stopping by.

Loving the Butterflies

I'm back again with some more butterflies this time. I am loving the butterflies from the new Butterfly Prints set, especially because there is no cutting out involved thanks to the co-ordinating punch. I have a couple of cards to share, the first one being a case from the current mini catalogue. I have gone with the soft colours of Pink Pirouette and Perfect Plum, a lovely combination.

Here is my take on the card:-
Now the next card is really out of my comfort zone because I don't often reach for the dark greens much, saw this colour combo so thought I would give it a go, not sure if I am 100% happy with it but it's okay. This was also from a sketch that I came across in a magazine.

Well this is it:-

Looks like we have finally have some sun come out today, the last few days have been very wet and constant showers, good for card making though. Bye for now.
