50 "Lolly Bags"...

Some time ago my lovely friend and neighbour asked me if I could make some "lolly" bags for her business promotions and I made these cute bags. The colours I used were Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie (the business colours). I had made some earlier versions of these but the colours where not quite right.

Here they are all lined up and ready to have the lollies added (unfortunately I didn't end up getting a photo of the end product).

I really must apologise for the unedited version of the photos!! Oh, dear don't look too closely at the horrible background. Must download some software.

100 Cards...

I finally managed to get back to this poor blog and even though it is a bit late I thought I would show you what 100 cards look like!!

I made these cards for Christmas presents for my mother and mother-in-law and ended up with 49 in one box and 51 in the other (a neat 100)!! The following photos are not that flash as my new laptop doesn't have photo editing software as yet.

Anyway here they all are (not the whole 100 as I did double-ups of most of the cards):-

The cards range from female/male birthdays, grandchildren and great-grandchildren birthdays to get well and sympathy as well. I then packaged them all up into cute little boxes and even made tabs inside so they were all in their respective categories. The boxes were then finished off with some chrissy ribbon and I also made a tag to go on top. In the end I was very happy with these and I know my mother-in-law was thrilled with hers (she rang me as soon as she received it in the post and thoroughly loved it).

Anyway, happy stamping everybody and hopefully I will get back here more often. I still have several cards to photograph when I can grab the camera from my daughter's clutches long enough to take some pics!!!

Missing Camera Cord

Just a quick post to let you know that at the moment I am missing in action due to my daughter's "misplaced" camera cord.

I have lots of projects and things to share but at the moment still can't find the missing cord to upload the photos onto my computer. Argh!!

Please keep checking, hopefully we may just find it if I get into clean out a room!!!

All Things Baby

Lovely friends of ours have had a gorgeous baby boy "Chase" who is now a few weeks old and here are a couple of things I had made for them.

The first one was a cake which I presented to them at their baby shower. It was filled with all things baby. It is surprising what you can fit inside these pieces, from bibs to lotions and even a cute little nail clipper.

Here is a close up of one of the pieces:-

I have previously made a couple of baby cakes for girls but I did find this one for a boy a bit of a challenge. Didn't really want to decorate it all with flowers!!

Anyway, I also made them a card which I gave them after bub was born. It was a very simple card but simplicity is all you need for babies I think.

That's all for babies at the moment. I can say that I have made a start on some Christmas cards this year, and also working on some Chrissy present ideas.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Bugs and Daisies

I am back to show you a couple of cards that I made using the gorgeous Upsy Daisy set and teemed it up with the bugs from Bugs and Kisses. Not a likely combination but I think they came up quite cute even if I say so myself!!
With this first card I used Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip and stamped the daisies in Kiwi Kiss onto White cardstock. I then stamped the bugs straight onto the cardstock.

This second card is pretty much exactly the same except that I stamped the bugs onto White cardstock and then cut them out. I then popped them up to give them a bit of a lift.

Anyway, I really should be making Christmas cards but so far just haven't got the inclination. Although, I am currently working on ideas for my mum and mother-in-law so I guess I have made a start.

Always Hearts

Hi to everyone out there in the stamping world. After having a busy week of making cards for Christmas pressies I thought I would have a break and post a lovely card that I had made a few weeks ago with the lovely "Always" set.

This would be the perfect anniversary or wedding card and I have a couple of big ones coming up next year with family members. Here it is:-

I'm loving the colour combination of Almost Amethyst, Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla, just gorgeous!! I used the beautiful swirls from "Priceless" inked in Almost Amethyst and stamped on Very Vanilla. The hearts are cut out and then layered onto Close to Cocoa and cut out again (don't look too closely!!).

Enjoy your day and happy stamping!!!

Always & Flower Fusion

Good morning to everyone out there in the blogging and stamping world. I had a day where I made quite a few cards with the lovely Always set (which I have only just acquired!! - took me long enough). Here is one of those cards which was inspired by this lovely card I came across on Splitcoaststampers.

It's not the best of photos, I was having a bit of a play around with the camera and lighting. I used Old Olive as the base card and stamped the branch image onto Whisper White card using Old Olive. I then attached the flowers with brads. I used Purely Pomegranate to cut out the scallop circle and inked the saying from "Best Yet" in Pomegranate. This was a very simple and quick card which came up a treat.

Thanks for looking!!
