Upsy Daisy

Well I have finally managed to get some photos off my daughter's camera and can start updating my poor neglected blog.

Here are some cards I made quite some time ago with my Upsy Daisy set. I just love the simplicity of these cards and thing they came up quite a treat. I had seen this idea previously through blog-hopping but now for the life of me can't seem to find it. I would love to give credit to the person who inspired me.

I used the beautiful Kiwi Kiss as the base card and then stamped my image on Whisper White with Purely Pomegranate.

This next one was using Ballet Blue as my base card and then I double stamped the image with Ballet Blue and ? (for the life of me I can't remember!!). Anyway, it kind of makes your eyes go weird. It has a "fuzzy" effect!! The photograph doesn't really do it justice.

I just love the simplicity of these cards and even used the same idea when I made a sympathy card for my aunt's husband.

These are both just lovely cards Karen! Like we were saying the other day, simplicity often gives more of a wow factor! I'm definitely going back to simplicity when I create now - it's my style I think!

Your post made me laugh when you said the about it making your eyes go funny! You write excellent posts! lol
